Early morn

Wonderful quiet time on a very early advent morn.  We love this tree! It is our first ever that drinks water.

Jesse loves Luke

I do think Luke is Jesse's favorite person and Luke is the big brother I would want to have.

Eating like a champ

This is the first day I could say Jesse is really eating from a spoon. He loves my homemade combo of steamed and pureed carrots zucchini and apple. 

Participation days

Today was my second day "participating" at Luke's nursery school. I'm learning how to sit back and let the kids learn how to play with each other.

Our fence is done. Now for some gardening.

Bouncey Boy

The high pitched sequeals that come from this little ones as he bounces make me smile so! I had a great half day of work and Luke put himself to sleep. Our fence is well in the making.

Monday

<p>This picture captures our life stage. 6 month Jesse is lifting his head and rolling from back to stomach (only). Three and a half year old Luke is constantly  asking, "Will you play with me? Mommy why won't you play with me." Thirty three year old me having another one of those days of this being the hardest job I have ever done (and my favorite- hopefully tomorrow).

Homeroom

A birthday celebration of a dear friend brought me to this new Mac n cheese lovers paradise. We shared five different kinds of the Mac with minty peas, buttery crisp beans, steamed broccoli w/creamy dip, washing it down with a pitcher of IPA. We sealed the deal with peanut butter pie, homemade oreos, and Carmel brownie sundae. With the check we were given a library card to file in house punched with 1 of 10 to get a free meal- quite honest of them as most people lose those!

New Air

We returned home from celebrating Julia&Chris in West Point and visiting Lisel, Ping, Bonnie and Wayde in Brooklyn to new Berkeley air. Fall has arrived and with it the start of our fence. Hooray!
